Anne Namakula


Anne is a Civil Engineer with 15 years of working experience in the provision of Sustainable Water Supply Services and Sanitation. Anne holds a Master of Science in Environmental Sanitation from Ghent University and is a NEBOSH Certified Health and Safety Practioner. Anne is building an ecosystem of the WASH Market in order to drive financial inclusion of WASH MSMEs in the Uganda Market to catalyze their contribution to SDG 6 and enable them to absorb Euro 100,000+ financing. Anne has experience in establishing Water operator models in a protracted refugee context; optimizing the operation of utilities through system thinking, community, and stakeholder engagement for Sustainable Water and Sanitation. She has worked with National Water and Sewerage Corporation, Vitens Evides International, SGI Ingegneria, and GFA Consulting. Anne is a mentor with the Girls for Girls Program.
