Dear Colleagues, Distinguished Participants, and Friends, it is with great pleasure that I present this report of
the 7th Annual KTA Symposium, a milestone event that continues to serve as a cornerstone for advancing
discussions in Uganda’s legal and technological spheres. This year’s symposium, centred on the theme “Localizing Intellectual Property for Uganda’s Digital Economy and Using Technology as a Tool for Preservation of Cultural Heritage,” brought together diverse stakeholders to address how intellectual property (IP) and technology can drive inclusive and robust digital economies while preserving our rich cultural heritage
