David Mpanga

David Mpanga David is the founding partner of AF Mpanga. He is an advocate of the High Court of Uganda with 32 years post qualification experience, 23 years of which experience is in legal services in Uganda, and a Barrister of the Honorable Society of the Middle Temple. David has cultivated strong expertise in mergers and acquisitions, international commercial transactions, corporate governance, and financial institutions law. He also has extensive experience advising on complex disputes, regulatory compliance, and investigations, as well as on the strategic aspects of commercial and acquisition transactions. He is an author and regularly provides commentary on pertinent social and governance issues. David is the Minister for Lands and Properties in the Kingdom of Buganda, a First Nation Institution headed by the Kabaka of Buganda. He is married to Dr. Phiona Muhwezi Mpanga, and they have three children.
