Digital Trade, AI & the Creative economy as Drivers for Digital Transformation
The 8th KTA Annual Law Symposium was held from the 23rd to the 24th of October 2025, under the theme ‘ Digital Trade, AI and the Creative Economy as Drivers for Digital Transition’. The even convened a multi-sectoral audience including lawyers, policy makers, development partners, tech innovators, and people from the creative industry.
Day one comprised an online training session on the intersection between technology and the creative economy, tailored for legal practitioners and hosted in collaboration with the Uganda Law Society (ULS). Day two was an in-person session hosted at MCI Media Hub in Kampala, comprising panel discussions, presentations, and a world cafe session on the thematic topics-digital trade, Artificial Intelligence, and the creative industry
